Thank you, Ambassador Glyn Davies, all our guest speakers and Luke Duggleby Photography for making our first #green_Y event inspiring, fun and educational. Special thanks to celebrity guest Khun Tik Jesdaporn Pholdee for encouraging youth that they have the power to change the world and live greener lives, starting by helping prevent forest fires. From reforestation, community education to mobile apps, young minds can think of solutions to tackling the challenges of climate change in new and innovative ways. We could not have done it without our partner project teams, so more thanks to our partners. USAID Mekong ARCC Project, USAID LEAD Program, USAID Adapt Asia-Pacific/ AECOM and USAID Private Financing Advisory Network-Asia. We also had our first Student Challenge for universities sparking ideas how to address climate change in their communities. See more photos of the event here: https://flic.kr/s/aHskBoZnYQ

When we thought, all the greatness of this event was just a speck of memories, more wonderful things happen.

Thank you to "Sarakadee" magazine (Thai magazine that covers many topics relating to arts and culture, discovery, travel and living green, just to name a few) - issue number 377, p. 032-033 features a wonderful review about our first ever "green-Y" event. The article has been written by Khun Suchada L. (The Editor that followed Khun Tik in one of Navigator's series this year). Khun Suchada compared "love is all around" where one still could exist to "Weather is all around" affects creatures' existence. I totally agree with her here, climate dictates our lives whereas without love, life goes on. The photographs by Luke Duggleby that portrayed climate change and it's effect on our lives were surely grim even presented beautifully in each of it's frame.

She greatly summararized the topics covered by the 7 distinguished guest speakers (it was no relation to the "seven sins" of course) and amongst the seven is of course, our favorite hero, Khun Tik Jesdaporn Pholdee. I won't go into great details as I really recommend that you should really get a hold on this issue and many others published by this magazine. This magazine definitely covers many interesting topics that, we should be aware in this fast paced living.

As Khun Tik mention, "we should all pay attention to what is the cause to these problems, see what's important and work together to solve these problems continuously and progressively...to think as a whole...".

I am sure that everyone at the event went home with a little seed of thoughts (and a little plant) and hopefully plan to help heal this beautiful earth of ours. Plant these seeds of responsibility to the environment in our hearts, as every little bit helps.
Let's work with our hero who truly has a green, kind heart. {52} {55}
Thank you, again, everyone for coming and see you all next year!
